The Patel Group of Companies operates in many areas such as security seal manufacturing, publishing, designing and packaging. Semiplas, the first company of the Patel Group, was established in 1989 as a manufacturer of automotive spare parts. Semiplas maintains a strong position in a demanding market through innovation and technology and has supplied Central Banks, National Airlines, Military Institutions and Postal Administrations of 60 countries over twenty years.

Patel has expanded its institutional objectives by entering into publishing with the magazine Life & Security with the theme “security in life” through Patel Media. Under its brand mark “Design Patel” it is active in the design and paper-bag market." Patel Media and Communications" also gives professional support in design, PR and organization to the Group and also publishes institutional magazines for its cusomers.

Patel Foreign Trade manages the Group’s requirements in import-export, technology transfer and R&D.

Semiplas will shortly be moving into a new factory currently under construction whilst maintaining its administrative operations at the İstanbul facility of the Group Head Office in Istanbul.
